Muftah Magazine, editor-at-large
Muftah was a digital magazine primarily dedicated to covering the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through the development of a diverse community of writers, bridging the divide between academics and journalists, and bringing fair and insightful analysis of current events and historical challenges to a mass audience.
From March 2013 through November 2018, I was a writer and editor for Muftah's Iran, Iraq, and Turkey sections, soliciting, supervising, editing and publishing original content, as well as conceiving and curating select special issues. From December 2018 through May 2019, I was Muftah’s editor-at-large.
